Bioswale Design + Construction

Design for an old bioswale on campus that had deteriorated from runoff and soil erosion. Worked as a class to create a collective redesign for the bioswale, repurposing as many onsite materials as possible. My planting plan used primarily native plantings, and rock swales and weirs formed from the existing rocks on site. The final design ended up very similar, using rock gabions and lots of similar plantings.
